"Nothing short of an aroused public can change things, nothing less than democracy is at stake. -- Bill Moyers
Tony Benn, one of my favorite politicians of all time, so eloquent and persuasive, I used to be a Bennite, when I lived in England, he should have been Prime Minister, but people thought he was too left wing. He used to be Viscount Stansgate, but he gave up his title, and he had to fight to do it. What a man.
hi Holte--"too left wing"? sounds right up my alley!"eloquent and persuasive" -- over here they call that a teleprompter junkie.and may I ask? WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT TO MOVE HERE???lately I've been watching a documentary on the revolution -- and fervently wishing we had lost. jfwiw.
