Oh man, if I did all those things to Fred the Cat, I would have to go to the emergency room. He does not like to be messed with. He's very verbal and if you make eye contact with him he makes all sorts of different meows. It's almost as if he's saying, What? What?

Rachael, a lady that allowed me to share her home some years ago, used to invite me to pet her. if I persisted for one nano- second longer than she thought I should, POW! I pulled back a bloody stump! to be fair, she DID give me fair warning, it wasn't HER fault if I didn't notice the tip of her tail twitch a half millimeter.
in our house, Tess was the verbal one -- well, one of em. so was Rebecca. and Nathan was absolutely certain he was a dog.
