The Politics of the Lightbulb :)

HOW MANY REPUBLICANS DOES IT TAKE TO SCREW IN A LIGHT BULB?

1. One to deny that the light bulb needs to be changed

2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed.

3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb.

4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for darkness.

5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid/cost-plus contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb.

6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a stepladder under the
banner: "Light Bulb Change Accomplished."

7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally in the dark.

8. One to viciously smear #7.

9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light bulb changing policy all along.

10. Finally, Joe Lieberman to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing the light bulb and screwing the country.

And one more to claim that terrorist caused the bulb to burn out.

oh, of course!
a suicide bomber took it out! how could we have missed that in our analysis? :)

The only conceivable way of making sure that terrierists don't have a chance to keep burning out our treasured lightbulbs is to make sure that we appoint Bush as the president for life and supply him with as many lightbulbs that he, and he alone, deems necessary. ;)

Good one and Lapdog Lieberman should always be included.

Very good two crows!
And one to deny all responsibility.
I was thinking of you when I wrote my story today. Doing the research for it things are a thousand fold worse than I thought.
You know much of my family including one of my sons lives in Florida "cocoa Beach" so I pay attemtion. I noticed after you mentioning the water problem there and it is a fact, that today you were looking at Hurricanes though I haven't heard anything since. Take care!

oh, yes, AAP--
_of_ course_ the denial of responsibility is essential!

I've also thought of another to coordinate with PoP's addition:
one will HAVE to upgrade the terror alert to orange after the terrorists are blamed for blowing up the lightbulb, no?
