hey, Phil--
hee hee!
since insanity IS the target of this blog, I guess I'm hittin' it.
or did you mean the store?

it's true, I do boycott Walmart, but if this is the kind of thing that's going on over there, mebbe I'll rethink my position.
:D

two crows-

I feel sorry for those cowboys since most of the customers at our local Walmart are about 80 years old....and they don't have much in their pension checks. Not to mention, have you ever seen the way they drive? They might do better to hang out at "Needless Markup", there are a whole bunch of Desperate Housewives hanging out there. ;-)

Hilarious post, two crows! I have to make it a habit to come here more often, I keep forgetting!

two crows-

60 is not old...80 is, and every time my mom (80) and mother-in-law, who is 93, insist on going to Walmart, I cringe! The place is swarming with walkers! Maybe that's just the way it is in this particular Walmart, but I dread going in there. My mother in law is almost blind, so I have to read off the prices on each item, and she won't buy it unless it's on sale or better yet, a clearance sale. She has many memories of the great depression and even though she has plenty of money in the bank, she squeezes a nickel harder than anyone I know. I lover her dearly and keep telling her she should spend the money on herself, she can't take it with her!

hey, ME--
my mom [87] was the same way till she got Alzheimer's and no longer remembers those times [I guess].

I used to tell her, 'You can take the girl out of the depression but you can't take the depression out of the girl.'
She sure could pinch a penny till it screamed.
